Hi, I'm Jacob
I founded Jacl Pictures after finishing my degree in Film Production at the University of Lincoln. I’ve always liked being creative and having something to work hard at, which is what drew me to photography, videography and running my own business. Since starting Jacl Pictures in 2024, I’ve continued developing my skills and experience working with businesses, creating content that helps them showcase what they do and giving them more time to focus on doing the things they love.

The Beginnings
Jacl Pictures started simply because I was the guy in the gym with a camera.
My first ever project was for my personal trainer at the time, with my Mum acting as the model. He needed some photos and videos to use for marketing, on his website and for his social media. After my first successful shoot similar jobs ensued for other small businesses.
One thing became clear. How important, confusing and difficult social media marketing is. The constant need to come up with ideas for content, create the content and then how best to position the content was a relentless and time consuming task for growing businesses, who were already swamped in work. So rather than just taking some general use photos for businesses, I began creating engaging social media content and managing it's delivery on social media.
Now
Today, Jacl Pictures focuses on providing end-to-end social media content for small businesses.
The goal is to take away the constant pressure of creating content. Coming up with ideas, finding time to film, trying to get good footage and then spending even more time editing. All that work can quickly become another full-time job for a business owner.
We use professional camera equipment and experienced editors to create high-quality content, while keeping the filming process as natural as possible. Our fly-on-the-wall approach means we can showcase you doing what you do best, with some direction and prompting from us to make sure we capture the best possible content.
The result is a bank of content that businesses can actually use across their social media, without having to spend hours every week creating it themselves.
The Future
As Jacl Pictures grows, we want it to become a one-stop for all content creation and digital marketing needs. For businesses that means they'll be able to hire individual freelancers or create teams to handle single projects or large campaigns. For freelancers, that doesn't just mean signing up and moving up, but joining a team of creatives that can work together on both professional and personal projects to create a variety of works.
